6 Individual Off-leash Areas, Dog Hydrobath Hut and Dog Playgrounds

Everything has been done to ensure your peace-of-mind during your stay. Cabins and drive-through caravan sites are securely fenced. We have 6 individual spacious off-leash areas within our park, securely fenced (yes, wire-netting going underground) and with double gate entrances. These allow the option of having your own "exclusive" area or meeting and playing with new friends - your choice. One of these areas is an enclosure for a monster sized dog exercise ball. Another such area incorporates dog friendly play equipment including dog agility equipment both for the learner and the more experienced. For your convenience, there are "doggy-doo" stations scattered around the park, many tethering places (in the on-leash areas) and various dog drinking spots. There is a dog hydrobath hut to pamper your best friend.

Luxury Day Use Kennels

For those occasions you cannot take your dog with you, eg when visiting the National Park. For the exclusive use of our guests these luxury kennels have their own tv, dvd, armchair and electric heater. Totally secure with wire-netting going underground and overhead. Each kennel has its own adjoining grassed area for the comfort of your best friend.
Cost is $10 per hour (Min. 3 hours) charged per kennel, not per dog.
Available between 9:00am and 6:00pm

Open Aviary, Games, and more .........

Every morning is feeding time in the Open Aviary when the birds of the rainforest provide a spectacular colourful display which is not to be missed. Throughout the day the kookaburras and koalas will keep you amused whilst at dawn and dusk the lyre birds sing merrily nearby.
From the camp kitchen you can play on the giant Connect Four. From reception you may borrow a board or card game including Dogopoly and Dog Monopoly, or hire a movie from our DVD library.
At our all-year-round waterfall you may fish for pan-sized trout, eels and good-sized freshwater crayfish or just dangle your feet in the water of this beautiful natural rock pool setting. You may also be lucky enough to spot our resident platypus at play under the falls.
The rock pool is ideal for a doggie swim and being two metres deep is also suitable for you to join your bestfriend in some aquatic fun in the most idyllic of surrounds.
In season you may help yourself to our fresh chestnuts, almonds and pecans. Using care you are also welcome to the sweet blueberries from our young blueberry hedge, and to the cherries, apples, pears and mandarines from our recently planted fruit trees.

A short drive away .........

5 minutes drive is the Tarra Falls and the Tarra Valley Picnic Area of the spectacular Tarra Bulga National Park. The Cyathea Falls rainforest walk here is like stepping back in time by a million years. Further along the road near the National Park Visitor Information Centre is a rainforest walk to the iconic Tarra Bulga Suspension Bridge.

15 minutes drive ( 17km ) is the town of Yarram with a Woolworths supermarket, two hotels, a country club, Chinese restaurant, pizza shop and several cafes/restaurants. There is a hospital and a 24hour veterinary service.

25 minutes drive is Port Albert where the fish and chips on the jetty are legendary. You may also hire a small boat ( dogs allowed ) to explore the estuary waters.

35 minutes drive is Woodside Beach which is the start of The Ninety Mile Beach ( off leash all-year-round ) and great for a long beach walk. There are several other nearby beach/bush walks also worthy of your attention.
