6 Individual Off-leash Areas, Dog Hydrobath Hut and Dog PlaygroundsEverything has been done to ensure your peace-of-mind during your stay. Cabins and drive-through caravan sites are securely fenced. We have 6 individual spacious off-leash areas within our park, securely fenced (yes, wire-netting going underground) and with double gate entrances. These allow the option of having your own "exclusive" area or meeting and playing with new friends - your choice. One of these areas is an enclosure for a monster sized dog exercise ball. Another such area incorporates dog friendly play equipment including dog agility equipment both for the learner and the more experienced. For your convenience, there are "doggy-doo" stations scattered around the park, many tethering places (in the on-leash areas) and various dog drinking spots. There is a dog hydrobath hut to pamper your best friend. Luxury Day Use KennelsFor those occasions you cannot take your dog with you, eg when visiting the National Park. For the exclusive use of our guests these luxury kennels have their own tv, dvd, armchair and electric heater. Totally secure with wire-netting going underground and overhead. Each kennel has its own adjoining grassed area for the comfort of your best friend. Open Aviary, Games, and more .........Every morning is feeding time in the Open Aviary when the birds of the rainforest provide a spectacular colourful display which is not to be missed. Throughout the day the kookaburras and koalas will keep you amused whilst at dawn and dusk the lyre birds sing merrily nearby. A short drive away .........5 minutes drive is the Tarra Falls and the Tarra Valley Picnic Area of the spectacular Tarra Bulga National Park. The Cyathea Falls rainforest walk here is like stepping back in time by a million years. Further along the road near the National Park Visitor Information Centre is a rainforest walk to the iconic Tarra Bulga Suspension Bridge. |
